What we do
Under contract with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), we serve DCF Areas 2, 3 and 7.
Crisis transport
Trained two-person crews take adults and youth in a mental health or substance use crisis from where they are to the facility that has accepted them.
Hospital sitting
When a placement isn't ready, a sitter stays with the person in the emergency department, with regular safety checks, until the next step is clear.
Competency transport
Court-ordered competency evaluation and restoration transports, with a documented chain of custody from pickup to hand-off.
How it works
For referring organizations
Send a referral from the Organization Portal or by phone. Dispatch assigns a cleared crew, and you follow the trip live, from pickup to a signed hand-off at the receiving facility.
For receiving facilities
Accept or decline incoming transports in the portal, set an arrival window, and see the crew's ETA and the hand-off receipt.
For crews and sitters
The Sitter App guides every step: the offer, care needs, the pickup checklist, live transport, sitting checks and the hand-off signature.
For KDADS and guardians
Oversight sees incidents and required notices on time; guardians can follow the referrals they are responsible for.
What we believe
Dignity first
The person in our care is a person, not a case. Crews are trained in trauma-informed de-escalation and use the least restrictive approach.
Nobody waits alone
We measure ourselves against response targets set with KDADS, and we sit with people when a bed isn't ready.
Every step on record
Identity checks, custody, belongings and the hand-off are recorded as they happen, so families, facilities and regulators can trust what happened.
